The Kind of Thing You'll Like if You Like That Kinda Thing

New episodes of Original Series Star Trek, made by fans with digital rendering.
(here)

I downloaded the first teaser and the first episode. It's not all that bad. Certainly watchable. I was quietly impressed.

One interesting thing (at least for me) is that all the scenes with the ship are rendered digitally with models that are publically available and fan made.

Tease. The link to the new TOS goes to ... the Venture Brother wiki article.

New episodes of a classic show - my that does sound interesting.

Fixed.

It takes a little getting used to, but I found it enjoyable.

Interesting idea. I found the first show (only watched 10 minutes of so far) quite watchable.

One of the really keen parts was seeing 'classic' Enterprise and equipment done up in modern CGI.

I thought it was watchbale, maybe even "professional". I read somewhere (maybe on the site) that DC Fontana was going to write a few episodes for them. That would be fairly interesting.

I loved the CGI. I could so almost as well in Bryce, but I think they are using Studio Max. We are fast entering an age where just about anyone can put together their own TV quality content. Should be intersting.
